About G.D. Brown Motorcycles & Scooters Surrey

G D Brown Motorcycles celebrate 85 years of selling motorcycles and all other kinds of two-wheeled transport next year. G D Brown started the company in 1926. Since taking over the bike shop in 1996 after the founder sadly passed away - the owner Simon Huber junior has revived the scooters sales part of the business.

Selling Scooters is nothing new at the Godalming motorcycle dealership.

G D Brown first started selling them in 1951. In fact G D Brown Motorcycles became the first UK dealer to stock the Vespa Scooter, which was built under licence in this country by the Douglas Aircraft Factory in Bristol. Remarkably we are still selling the ever popular Vespa range which forms part of the massive Italian Piaggio concern.

At G D Brown we have a large selection of used motorcycles and scooters to suit most budgets and requirements - for those who wish to dispose of a motorcycle or scooter and do not want all the hassle this can entail - a unique sale or return scheme has been set up to sell the bike on a sale or return commission basis. This normally achieves a far higher price for the seller as the bike shop can offer far more facilities to the potential customer like finance part exchanges etc.

Over the years G D Brown has moved with the times and now has the latest type of MOT inspection equipment. We also offer full workshop facilities for servicing and repair to most makes and models, including a tyre supply and fitting bay with state of the art balancing machine. G D Brown Motorcycles is a rare local dealership in this day and age -with the main priority being customer care and satisfaction -. The showrooms and workshops are situated half a mile from Godalming Town Centre on the A3100 Guildford Road. Your nearest station is Godalming, on the Waterloo line..

We look forward to seeing you soon!
